ELL LEGACY | MICAH PIETILA-WIGGS
Who was micah pietila-wiggs?
Micah Pietila-Wiggs was a renowned athlete and an accomplished student but above all, he was an incredible person and friend. His love for life and electric personality made him magnetic, he drew people in and treated everyone he encountered with the same genuine compassion and love.
Micah and his family were part of our ELL baseball community for many years. In fact, Micah was an integral part of the Eastlake 2013 Little League Baseball® World Series United States Champions team.
Our Minor B field at our main Creekside complex is named in Micah's honor, who, in his brief 21 years, immeasurably impacted those who knew him and, we hope, those who will learn of him through Eastlake Little League.
To live like michah means to be inclusive, authentic, and kind-hearted. micah exemplified what it means to be a part of Eastlake Little League's baseball community and he will always be a proud part of our heritage
What is the LLM FOundation?
The Micah Pietila-Wiggs “LLM” foundation serves to carry on Micah’s legacy by recognizing and supporting high school seniors who embody the same qualities that made Micah who he was. These students make a positive impact in every setting, whether it be in the classroom, at lunch, at practice, or in their community.
