Determining League Age

Seasons

Spring

Spring season is the official little league season. This means that age and residency verification will occur and for Minor B and above, skill assessments. Games are only between other Eastlake Little League teams.

Registration typically opens in November of each year.

There are two games a week, one on Saturday and one during the week with a minimum of one practice a week.

Spring season offers the opportunity of play-offs for Minor B and above.

Post-season play also is available during Spring season. There are two opportunities for post-season play:

  • Tournament of Champions (TOC) - Chosen by age group (6U,7U,8U) and divisions (Minors and Majors). The age groups are chosen by District 42 each year (some years they may not have a 6U for example) and play is inter-league. Players are nominated by their coaches.
  • All-Stars - Are chosen by age group, there are 3 divisions (10U,11U,12U). Play is inter-league. Players are nominated by their coaches. 12U teams can potentially lead to the Little League World Series.

Fall Ball

Fall season is meant to focus on re-enforcing fundamentals and age and residency verification does not take place. Depending on registration numbers, games can be inter-league with other District 42 leagues or stay within Eastlake Little League.

Registration typically opens in July of each year.

There is only one game per week, usually on Sunday, with a minimum of one practice per week. There is no post season play after Fall season.
